Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Kamakhyanagar was established in the year 2025 as part of the continuous expansion of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) to cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees, Defence personnel, State Government employees, and the local community.

Since its inception, the Vidyalaya has been committed to providing quality education in line with the vision and mission of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. It strives to nurture young minds by imparting knowledge, values, discipline, and co-curricular skills to enable holistic development of students.

The Vidyalaya looks forward to growing gradually into a full-fledged institution up to Class XII in the coming years, with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities, while upholding the ideals of excellence and inclusivity.
